CVIS is an ecological, community-oriented, multicultural and bilingual school located in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico. Incorporating the natural beauty and dynamic culture of the local area, CVIS provides an intellectually stimulating curriculum for preschool through 9th grade.

In its 5th year, local nonprofit environmental conservation program - Azul Sayu - continues evolving and growing to meet the needs of Sayulita!

- The local program’s budget is approximately 25,000 USD per year; expenses include workers, rent for our sorting and storage facility (called the acopio), gas and vehicle maintenance.

- Recycling services are free to the community! (There is a private pick up service for a nominal fee and these fees cover about 45% of the center’s budget.)

Donations are needed to cover 55% of the program’s budget!

The mission of Centro Creativo de Sayulita is to promote and encourage the integration and creativity of the inhabitants of Sayulita, especially children, and contribute to the construction of a community in harmony with ourselves and with nature; in a social and sustainable space where the appreciation, development and exchange of artistic, cultural, sports and crafts activities are celebrated.

Our Mission is to enable anybody who visits the town of Sayulita, Mexico, to be able to have free, clean, and healthy water without having to buy a plastic bottle. Refilling is a cheap and easy alternative to bottled water - providing unlimited access to perfectly-filtered water on the go.

Mujeres Movimiento is a women’s organization located in Sayulita, Mexico, an idyllic seaside pueblo that draws thousands of tourists each year. While many benefit from the tourism, most local women are employed in low-paying service jobs struggling to provide for their families in a pueblo that is growing prohibitively expensive.

Liga De Pee Wee is a low cost/free competitive surf series for area children ages 5-18. It offers the chance to experience training, competition and an entrance to the lifelong sport of surfing. Surfing provides an athletic and creative outlet for local children in Sayulita. Competitions are held in Sayulita, San Blas, San Pancho and Punta Mita, Mexico.

The Sayulita JR SUP Team is a public athletic organization that aims to provide world-class coaching to all skill levels while shaping well rounded, confident, involved youth. Through education on and off the water, our 3 major pillars to success-discipline, respect, and community-we strive to provide a positive yet competitive environment where young athletes can develop skills to achieve their personal goals

The El Centro/Surf It Out summer camp is run by professional surfers and artists. The camp gives children who might not normally have the opportunity to attend summer camp - the experience of a lifetime.
